Prodigy Kid

Silvana Editoriale vi invita alla presentazione del volume Prodigy Kid. Francesco Cavaliere – Leonardo Pivi, in programma martedì 25 ottobre 2022, alle ore 18.00, presso la Sala D’Attore di Casa Melandri.
La mostra, ospitata nella cornice del Museo d’Arte della Città di Ravenna nell’ambito della VII edizione della Biennale di Mosaico Contemporaneo, sarà visitabile fino all’8 gennaio 2023.

Since 2018, Francesco Cavaliere and Leonardo Pivi have been collaborating on the creation of fantasy stories and contemporary fairy tales, which take the form of mosaic installations, sculptures, and objects animated by performances, where words and sounds invite us to explore our and their imagination. It is a collective, but the two artists also work independently. This volume gives account to the outcomes of their shared research and tells about their personal activities, investigating a wide range of materials, techniques, languages, and themes, as well as highlighting affinities and divergences between the two artists. The result is a visionary collaboration in which past and present, real and unreal, abstract and concrete mingle freely and powerfully.
