Gioielli di Giulio Manfredi celebrano Raffaello

Ispirato dal cartone preparatorio per la “Scuola di Atene” di Raffaello Sanzio, Giulio Manfredi ha voluto rendere omaggio al maestro urbinate con un’installazione nella Sala del Cartone di Raffaello della Veneranda Biblioteca Ambrosiana. Ventun gioielli ispirati a ventun personaggi, delicatamente mostrati ai visitatori da diafane figure che, quasi discendendo dalla parete, continuano un dialogo di cultura e bellezza che trascende ogni spazio e ogni tempo.

Inspired by the preparatory cartoon for Raphael’s School of Athens, Giulio Manfredi wanted to pay homage to the master from Urbino with an installation in Raphael’s Cartoon Room, in the Veneranda Biblioteca Ambrosiana. Twenty-one jewels inspired by twenty-one characters, delicately shown to visitors by diaphanous figures who, as if descending from the wall, continue a dialogue of culture and beauty transcending space and time.
