This monograph presents the installations and interventions that have been realised by the artist Thierry Géhin since 2000. Based on the principle that all places potentially contain other places, suspended, waiting to be revealed, they often put into play some kind of living structure, or the function and the way a certain space may be used, even the lived experience of its users, always starting with very specific information. The work brings together around thirty projects, mostly in situ, bearing witness to a new way of experiencing and sharpened perception of places, whose transformation can be long-term or temporary. Three authors share their perspective here, three different and complementary ways of looking at this universe in some never before published texts: Célia Charvet, Yves Ravey, Nicolas Surlapierre.
