This project is the brainchild of Piero Mascitti, artistic director of the newly established Parise Fioroni Foundation, and was inspired by Goffredo Parise’s book Capri, written in the 1970s, for an exhibition hosted by the Andrea Ingenito gallery. Giosetta Fioroni created seven ceramic sculptures, as many as the days of the week: seven days of Capri light and colours; seven opportunities to immerse ourselves in the beauties of the island and losing ourselves in the caves of the Blue Grotto that inspired them. These sculptures are delightful, with their shades of colour changing from blue to green, from yellow to orange, illuminated by small lamps placed inside. This creates a powerfully evocative atmosphere that transforms the entire structure into a pop memory of a legendary and magical season.
