Abstract

When drawing near to a canvas by Music, the clamour and bustle of daily life disappear, making way for a different density: the air moves slowly around pale and sad forms, which it has smoothed over the centuries.
Millennia go by. A few grains of sand imperceptibly penetrate the stone-studded landscape. Little by little, manmade monuments lose their substance and become subtle fabrics taut against the sky. A boundless silence falls.
