I have always been fascinated by the wear and tear of objects, by the things that many consider waste but may hold unexpected surprises for those capable of observing them from a different viewpoint. 
Hence four years ago I embarked upon a photographic project with this theme in mind, initially with three-dimensional photographs of compressed paper bales (later to be used as recycled paper). Then last year, in collaboration with Aspem, I started to photograph garbage in one of their collection facilities.
Day after day, just like the pieces of a puzzle, some micro-stories were born depicting our everyday lives, loves, passions, sports, food – a cross section of contemporary life.
