“Visual and aural” exhibition Music for the Eyes: Crossovers between Video Art, Pop Music, Music Videos and its accompanying catalogue, curated by Luca Quattrocchi, explore the fruitful intermingling that can be seen both in the field of video art – where music videos and pop songs offer new sources of creative inspiration and new opportunities for reflecting on today’s society – and in music videos made by filmmakers and visual artists, working to highlight their mutual influences and reciprocal borrowings, their parallels and shifts in meaning.
