Seroux d’Agincourt and the Neapolitan Medieval Painting in the Drawings of the Vatican Apostolic Library

This essay gives a brief overview of the drawings representing Neapolitan medieval paintings from the collection of art historian Jean-Baptiste Seroux d’Agincourt housed in the Vatican Apostolic Library. In particular, it deals with a hitherto unpublished copy of the missing central panel of S. Maria Incoronata altarpiece described by Bernardo De Dominici.
