Through performative actions, which often involve the use of voice and writing, Cesare Viel (Chivasso, 1964) explores the processes through which identity is constructed and deconstructed, revealing itself as a place of crossing that preserves the traces of each step.
The volume presents new works and new versions of historical installations and performances, created by the artist in close dialogue with the complex architectural structure of the PAC of Milan, intended not as a simple container but as an active element interacting with the works, arriving sometimes to determine its shape and offer the public multiple points of view.
