Luigi Biscozzi (1934-2018) - from Salento, the co-founder of a major tax-consulting firm in Europe - and his wife Dominique Rimbaud (1947) - from Provence, a long-time legal advisor to foreign groups operating in Italy - spent a lifetime together in Milan. Their shared passion for art led them to collect over two hundred works, including paintings, sculptures, and prints. They provide a deliberately personal interpretation of Italian and international twentieth-century art, with special reference to the years 1950-1980.
With the creation of the Fondazione Biscozzi | Rimbaud and the opening of a permanent exhibition venue in Lecce, this great heritage is made available to the public. The catalogue documents the collection’s contents and progressive formation. It includes texts by Luigi Biscozzi, Dominique Rimbaud, Paolo Bolpagni, Roberto Lacarbonara, Antonio Mallardi and Marco Tagliafierro.
