Asti Architetti

The volume documents the work of Studio Asti, which has been operating in the city of Milan since the early 2000s with projects aimed at giving new life to historic buildings. Its activity focuses mainly on the renovation of buildings and their conversion, in a perspective that interprets the ancient on the basis of the current needs of living: a non-gestural architecture that identifies itself with a new "normal".
The interventions illustrated here – in the very central places of the city – involve buildings ranging from residential to tertiary, commercial, hospitality: the studio pays great attention to the context, to the architectural quality, to detail and to the adoption of cutting-edge technologies in the energy field.
A book of great interest to explore a very topical issue, with a view to safeguarding and modernizing the fabric of our cities.
