The book collects the works by more than fifty Italian women artists, recounting their way of living the world in different historical and social contexts. Conceived as an open investigation into the present, the project Io dico Io – I say I catches fundamental issues that have crossed and still cross contemporary feminisms: it draws alliances and affinities, weaves likenesses and symbolic relationships, creates intergenerational dialogues leaving chronologies aside.
