Narrating the thrilling story of Cordusio 2.0 means tracing back through a vision, an act of courage that has probably become a trailblazer for a new trend on the Milanese real estate market. When Hines decided to acquire a building on Piazza Cordusio, the situation was quite different from what we see today. The innovative idea behind the initiative undertaken by Hines Group consisted in believing in an investment in the historical center of Milan, foreshadowing a line of reasoning that was soon to take form-namely that of investing in historical properties rather than creating new buildings: this new vision focused on the revitalization of existing properties in important urban locations, which had to be reassessed in terms of contemporary necessities, in line with the main international standards of energy sustainability and space efficiency. As in the post-war era and as it is now in many European and international cities, it becomes pertinent to address the importance of "the heart of the city", introducing a visionary model of regeneration in today's society.
