The volume collects 32 photographs taken by Stefano Cioffi along the river Aniene inside the city of Rome, from its first bends at the height of the GRA near Tor Cervara to its mouth, near Tor di Quinto, where it flows into the Tiber. The photographer followed the course of the river trying to immortalize a hidden, forgotten and unexplored city, which are places that we continuously touch in our daily life without actually coming into contact with them, but rather avoiding them. Cioffi's images, full of allusions and very little descriptive, are powerful visions that dig deep into the city, giving us an almost unimaginable landscape close to the Seven Hills.
