Focus on Future is a story in pictures devoted to the goals of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which was signed by 193 countries, including Italy, on September 25, 2015.
The authors of the works published in this book are photographers who gravitate around the area of Turin; this results in an exploration of the interaction between the city community and the world of global values. They are photojournalists, artists, and photographers of architecture, still lifes, and portraits. Among them there are winners of prestigious awards, with works exhibited in galleries and museums and published in leading national and international journals, as well as young people just entering the profession.
The photographs selected belong to larger projects and each sequence is a window on a world. This journey takes the viewer into a world of stories, places, and destinies, composing an anthology of the great challenges facing humanity today.
