Abstract

Since 1922, the museum of Bourg-en-Bresse (Ain, France) has been housed within the walls of the prestigious Royal Monastery of Brou. It is home to almost four hundred and fifty works, paintings, sculptures and objets d’art from the 11th century to modern day. This guide is an invitation to find out more about the history of the museum and its collections.
